NEET SS 2024 on March 29th, 30th, Know Do's and Don'ts for exam day
New Delhi- The National Board of Medical Examinations (NBEMS) is going to conduct the National Eligibility and Entrance Test- Super Specialty (NEET SS) for the academic year 2024 on March 29 and 30, 2025.
The admit card for the NEET SS 2024 is live on the official website of NBEMS on 25th March 2025 for the candidates found ineligible. NBEMS shall be conducting the exam Computer Based Test (CBT) in a safe and secure environment, maintaining social distancing norms wherever needed. NBEMS reserves its rights to review the test day processes of conduct of CBT.
As per the information bulletin, candidates are required to report at the ‘Reporting Counter’ of the test venue as per the time indicated in their admit cards. The exact entry point to the test centre (Reporting Counter) and the main gate of the venue might be at a distance. To avoid unforeseen delay in reaching the test centre entry point (Reporting Counter), candidates are advised to reach well in time and familiarise themselves with the exact point of the entry to the test centre in the premises of the venue well in advance. The reporting counter will close 30 minutes prior to the test start time. Any delay in arrival to the test centre entry point (Reporting Counter) shall lead to denial of entry even if the candidate might have arrived to the premises of the venue.
Candidates reporting late or beyond the prescribed time shall not be allowed to appear in the exam under any circumstances. NBEMS shall not be responsible for any delayed arrival of the candidate in reaching the centre due to any reason.
The exact address and location of the test centres are indicated in the admit card. Candidates are advised to familiarise themselves with the test centre and reporting counter locations at least one day prior to the examination day and ensure that they report for the exam as per the scheduled time only. It shall be the responsibility of the candidate to confirm the exact location of the test centre well in advance to avoid any arrival delay.
Please note that only the candidates who have been issued an admit card will be allowed entry inside the examination centre premises, subject to the fulfilment of documentary requirements. However, friends and or relatives accompanying the candidates will not be allowed entry in the examination centre premises under any circumstances and will not be allowed to contact the candidate while the examination process is ongoing.
The candidate will flash the admit card and ID proof for verification to the exam functionary standing across the table with the barcode/QR code reader. The candidate shall be informed about the assigned lab number. Alternatively, the list of Roll numbers and assigned labs shall be displayed outside the test venue.
Identity checks will be made upon arrival at the test centre to ensure that no unauthorized candidates are appearing for the exam. Candidates must bring to the test centre the following documents-
1 Printed copy of Barcoded/QR Coded Admit card.
2 Photocopy of Permanent SMC/MCI/NMC registration, to be retained by the test centre.
3 Any one of the Govt-issued photo IDs (must be original and valid/non-expired).
Unfair means case shall be registered against the candidates producing false/forged documents/ID Proofs.
Moreover, candidates will not be allowed to take the following items beyond the security checkpoint under any circumstances-
1 Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), notes, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Pen, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, etc.
2 Any electronic device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, wrist watch/Health Band/Smart Watch, Calculator, Electronic Pen/ Scanner, etc.
3 All ornaments like bracelets, rings, Earrings, nose pins, chains/necklaces, Pendants, necklaces with pendants, badges, brooches, etc. Items carried due to religious beliefs, if any, shall only be permitted after thorough examination.
4 Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap, Water Bottle, etc.
5 Any eatable item opened or packed, soft drinks, water bottles, etc.
6 Any other item which could be used for unfair means, for hiding communication devices like wireless/Bluetooth devices, spy cameras, etc.
Candidates will be permitted to carry exam-related documents (Admit card, ID Card, etc) brought by them to the examination lab. Candidates can carry any medicine or a medical assistance device at the exam centre, please carry supportive medical documents. In the absence of such documents, you shall not be permitted to carry such devices/prostheses/ medicine, etc. If they require any assistance of scribe, they can seek prior approval of NBEMS by way of submitting a query at NBEMS Communication Web Portal along with documents in support. In the absence of prior approval of NBEMS, the candidate shall not be allowed to accompany a scribe inside the exam centre.
