NEET PG Counselling: NTRUHS extends reporting deadline for candidates who wish to resign AIQ allotted round 1 seats, check details

Andhra Pradesh: Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Andhra Pradesh, has announced an extension of the reporting deadline for Competent Authority (CQ) Non-Service Phase-1 PG Medical allottees, following the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) decision to allow candidates to resign from AIQ Round 1 seats.
As per the notice issued by Dr NTRUHS in this regard, the last date for reporting to the allotted college has been extended from 3:00 PM on December 9, 2025, to 3:00 PM on December 12, 2025. The extension is intended to help candidates who wish to surrender their All India Quota seats and join the PG seats allotted in Andhra Pradesh’s State Counselling.
The decision comes in response to the MCC’s earlier notice, which permits candidates to resign from their Round-1 AIQ seats, provided the resignation is formally processed and updated through the intra-MCC portal. This window enables students to take up more preferred seats allotted under their respective state counselling authorities.
Therefore, NTRUHS has instructed all Principals and Deans of affiliated medical colleges to strictly follow the revised reporting deadline of December 12, 2025, 3:00 PM. Admit candidates only after verifying successful resignation from their AIQ Round-1 seat. Ensure that the resignation has been duly updated on the intramcc portal, as mandated by MCC guidelines.
Meanwhile, the university has also emphasised that all candidates must adhere to the extended schedule and complete their reporting formalities within the stipulated time. Any delay or failure to secure proper resignation documentation from MCC may affect admission under the State quota.
