Adhere to MCC NEET 2025 counselling schedule: NMC tells state counselling authorities, medical colleges
New Delhi: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has directed the state counselling authorities and the deans/principals of all medical colleges in the country to adhere to the NEET 2025 counselling schedule as released by the MCC.
NEET-UG Counseling Schedule for the Academic Year 2025 for All India Quota & State Quota, received from MCC, Directorate General of Health Services, Government of India, Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi, is attached below for information and necessary action by all State Counselling authorities, all participating Medical Colleges / Institutes and students.
"All State Counselling authorities are requested to strictly adhere to the schedule provided by MCC so that incoherence between the counselling of All India Quota (AIQ) and State Quota (SQ) can be avoided in compliance of various directions of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India," the NMC stated in its notice.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) recently released the official schedule of the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling for the academic year 2025 on its official website. As per the schedule, candidates who have qualified the NEET UG 2025 exam can start registering for the first round of counselling from July 21, 2025.
NEET UG counselling 2025 will be conducted by MCC in four phases for admission to MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing programmes under 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and to central, deemed universities. This also includes AIIMS, JIPMER, AMU, BHU and ESIC institutes. However, if any seats remain vacant after the fourth phase, then phased processes are conducted for some vacancies to fill them after the third and fourth phases.
