NEET MDS 2025 internship deadline extended! Check all Details here
New Delhi- The Dental Council of India (DCI) has notified about the extension of the last date for completion of the internship to become eligible for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Master of Dental Surgery (NEET-MDS) for the academic year 2025.
In this regard, DCI has issued a public notice for all the NEET-MDS aspirants. Through the notice, DCI has informed all the NEET-MDS aspirants that the GOI has decided to extend the last date for completion of internship to become eligible for NEET-MDS, 2025, to 30 June 2025. However, the NEET-MDS Exam 2025 shall be conducted on the same date, i.e. on 19 April 2025. Therefore, the NBEMS shall open the portal for registration of students completing internships between 01 April 2025 to 30 June 2025 for appearing in the NEET-MDS Exam, 2025.
The NEET MDS 2025 exam will take place on April 19, 2025, and the result will be declared by May 19, 2025. The NEET MDS 2025 admit card is scheduled to be released on April 15. The NEET MDS exam 2025 will have 240 multiple-choice questions. Candidates will receive four marks for each correct response, one mark will be deducted for an incorrect response, and no marks will be awarded or deducted for unattempted questions.

The Dental Council of India has been constituted by an Act of Parliament to regulate the profession of dentistry and also to maintain the highest standards of dental education in the country. It is the statutory and bounden duty of the DCI to take such steps which are required to be taken to maintain the highest standards of dental education in the country
Any dental qualification granted by any person/authority/institution is not valid unless and until it is according to the norms of the DCI Act and Regulations made thereunder, the respective provisions of Section 10, 10A and 10B of the Dentists Act, 1948.
