TN doctor pursuing MD in Meerut found dead

Olatpur Doctor Dies in Suspected Fall from Balcony
Meerut: In a tragic incident, a 29-year-old doctor pursuing an MD was found dead in his rented house in Meerut recently.
The incident took place at 11 AM on March 4, 2026.
The deceased has been identified as a medico, originally from Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu. He was pursuing an MD degree at a private medical college in Meerut and lived on rent in Gokuldham Colony.
According to The Hindu Media news report, the case came to light when the medico's classmate found him dead in his room. He immediately informed the police that the medical student was dead in his room.
After getting the information, the police reached the spot, recovered the body and sent it for a post-mortem examination.
On this, a statement was released from the Meerut police, which read “We received the information and a police team reached the spot. We have sent the body for postmortem and the family has been informed. The police team is looking at all possible angles in the matter”.
Medical Dialogues recently reported that a 26-year-old first-year MS Orthopedics student was found hanging in his hostel room on the Dr MK Shah Medical College campus in Chandkheda on Sunday morning. The deceased was identified as a resident of Jamnagar, Gujarat. He was living in the boys' hostel in the SMS Hospital compound. According to police, he was found hanging from a ceiling hook with a red nylon rope tied around his neck.
The incident came to light when his roommate returned to their hostel room in the morning and opened the door to find the medico hanging. He alerted fellow doctors, who rushed to the room, cut the rope, and took him to the emergency ward.
