Cheating at AIIMS Rishikesh: MBBS Student Caught with Phone in Slipper During Exam
Rishikesh- A second-year MBBS student at AIIMS Rishikesh was recently caught allegedly attempting to carry a mobile phone into an examination hall by concealing it inside his slipper. Consequently, this incident has prompted the institute to initiate disciplinary action.
This incident occurred on Tuesday during a class test in the Academic Building at AIIMS Rishikesh. The student was caught during a routine security check, where the device was recovered. However, officials stated that an investigation into the matter has been initiated.
According to the TOI media news report, Dr Shriloy Mohanty, Public Relations Officer at AIIMS Rishikesh, stated that the annual examinations are scheduled to be held in May, and internal class tests are currently underway. However, an inquiry committee has been constituted in this matter, and appropriate action will be taken.
Meanwhile, a video of this incident subsequently went viral on social media, drawing public attention to the matter.
