The foreign medical graduates have urged the Uttar Pradesh Government to increase the stipend for medical graduates from abroad who are undergoing internship in the State.
Currently, the FMGs undergoing internship get Rs 12,000 per month as their stipend. Pointing out that the stipend for FMG interns in Bihar was recently raised to Rs 27,000 per month, the All FMGs Association (AFA) has demanded an increase in the stipend amount in Uttar Pradesh as well.

AIIMS Raipur Unveils Advanced Robotic Surgery Facility
The All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur, inaugurated its state-of-the-art Robotic Surgery Facility, Devhast, in the presence of Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, and Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Hon’ble Health Minister.
Equipped with the latest technology, the system enables minimally invasive procedures with greater precision and safety, helping patients recover faster with reduced pain and shorter hospital stays. The facility will also serve as a centre of academic excellence, offering training and research opportunities in robotic-assisted surgery for postgraduate and resident doctors.

AIIMS Raipur launches Central India's first robotic surgery facility
Russia's experimental mRNA-based cancer vaccine Enteromix has demonstrated 100% efficacy and safety in clinical trials, raising hopes for a breakthrough in the global fight against cancer. Developed using similar technology as COVID-19 vaccines, Enteromix works by training the immune system to recognize and eliminate cancer cells without serious side effects.
The announcement was made by the Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA) of Russia, with its head Veronika Skvortsova confirming that the vaccine had successfully completed preclinical studies and was now ready for clinical use.

Russia's Enteromix Cancer Vaccine Shows 100% Success in Trial, Awaits Final Nod for Public Use
Highlighting how the current schedule of the National Eligibility-Entrance Test Superspeciality (NEET-SS) 2025 Examination in November 2025 is causing severe hardship for candidates due to unavoidable circumstances, the doctors have requested the Union Health Minister, Shri J.P. Nadda, to postpone the exam.
According to the NBE schedule, the NEET SS 2025 will tentatively be held on 7th and 8th November 2025.
In their letter to the health minister, the doctors under the Indian Medical Association Junior Doctors' Network (IMA-JDN) pointed out that the current schedule of the NEET SS 2025 exam clashed with university examinations, and maintained a short gap between the previous and the upcoming NEET SS examination.
